German
Since 1911, the Beta German has been enjoyed by Alpha Nus and their dates alike. German decorations, pennants, and signs hang outside of and throughout the Usher Mansion, while attendees relish in live music and dancing. The party itself is “one of the most brilliant social events of the year.”
Turkey Pull
Our second major social event is the Turkey Pull, an Alpha Nu tradition dating back to 1883. The halls of Usher Mansion are covered with tons of live greenery, the living room is converted into an additional dining hall, and members and dates alike enjoy the dinner, "the excellent nature of which is as traditional as the legend itself."
Sk80s
Our spring semester social event is a recent addition to Alpha Nu. Sk80s is an 80s themed roller skating party that takes place in early February. It's a fun event filled with neon work out clothes, Kenny Loggins, and bad dancing.
